Staff

Staff is the minimum-privilege role for handling a store's day-to-day operations (internal identifier: StoreStaff). Assign it to members who only need to perform that day's tasks, such as register duty or floor staff.

Path to settings: Business Account Menu > Business Account Settings > Member Management (/organizations/{BusinessAccountId}/members)

What Staff Can Do

  • Issue e-receipts at their assigned store
  • View that day's transaction history
  • Check and respond to reservations
  • Operate the POS terminal
  • Use staff chat and internal communication tools

What Staff Cannot Do

  • Invite, remove, or change the role of members
  • Change store settings or business account settings
  • Create or edit coupons and promotions
  • Register or edit product catalog (PIM) entries
  • View customer lists, sales analytics, or reports
  • Operate the Developer API, plans, or billing

Assigning to Multiple Stores

Staff are invited on a per-store basis. If a Staff member covers multiple stores, invite them separately at each store.

If You Want Staff to See Sales Data

If you also want floor staff to be able to view sales data, assign the Accounting role alongside the Staff role. This gives them read-only access to sales figures.
