Store role
Shift lead is the middle step of the store roles, between Staff and Store manager. It suits the person running the floor on a given day, such as a shift supervisor.
What a Shift lead covers
Everything Staff covers, plus:
- Building the rota
- Posting to the noticeboard
- Handling bookings
- Redeeming coupons
- This store's sales
Where things stand today: you can set the Shift lead role, but neither the web dashboard nor the store operations app uses it for access control yet. For now, business account roles decide what a member can use. If you set the role now, it will apply as soon as store roles take effect.
Who can appoint and where
- Open "Members" on the store dashboard, choose the member's "Role at this store" and save.
- Owners and Operations managers can appoint Shift leads.
- Roles are set per store. Someone who covers several stores needs the role set at each one.
