When You Can't Find Your Page During Meta (Facebook / Instagram) Integration

SNS Meta Facebook Instagram Account Connection Troubleshooting

This article covers what to check when connecting to Meta (Facebook / Instagram) shows "No page found" or "Access to this page was not granted," and you can't proceed. In most cases, the cause is either how you selected a page in Facebook's authorization screen, or how your Instagram account is linked to a Facebook page.

1. Do you have a Facebook Page?

Receipt Roller posts to a Facebook Page, not a personal timeline. You need a Facebook Page in order to connect.

  • When connecting, you log in with your personal Facebook account (this is expected). The system then lets that logged-in personal account choose which page it manages.
  • If you don't have a page yet, create one on Facebook first, then connect.
  • Make sure the personal account that manages the page is the same account you log in with when connecting.

2. Did you select the page in Facebook's authorization screen?

Clicking "Connect" opens Facebook's authorization screen, where you choose which page to grant Receipt Roller access to. If you don't check the box for the target page here, the page won't be found and you'll get an error when connecting.

  • If the authorization screen shows "Select pages to link" or "Edit business integration," make sure to check the box for the target Facebook Page.
  • Make sure to select "Allow" for every permission requested. If you set even one to "Don't allow," posting and connecting won't work.

3. Delete and redo the app connection (if the selection screen doesn't appear)

If you didn't select a page during a previous connection attempt, Facebook may remember that choice, and the page-selection screen may not appear again when you reconnect. If this happens, delete the app's record on the Facebook side and start over.

  • Log in to facebook.com and open "Settings & Privacy" → "Settings" → "Apps and Websites"
  • Find "ReceiptRoller SNS" in the list and delete it
  • Go back to Receipt Roller and click "Connect" again. This time, the authorization screen — including page selection — will appear from the start

4. Are you an admin of the Facebook Page?

Connecting requires admin permission on the Facebook Page. Under the page's "Settings" → "Page Access," check whether the personal account you're logged in with has "Facebook Access (Full Control)." If you only have access through Meta Business Suite, grant the personal account direct access permission to the page.

5. Is Instagram linked to a Facebook Page? (For Instagram integration)

To post to Instagram, your Instagram business account (or creator account) must be linked to a Facebook Page.

  • In the Instagram app, go to "Settings" → "Account type and tools" to switch to a business account
  • From the Facebook Page's "Settings" → "Linked Accounts," link your Instagram account
  • After linking, click "Connect" in Receipt Roller once more

If none of this resolves the issue

If you still can't connect after checking everything above, or if Facebook shows an error page, please contact support along with a description of what appeared on screen.
