Connecting ReceiptRoller to a Facebook Page lets you publish posts, publish event posts, and manage comments and messages. Posts are published through a Facebook Page. Meta does not allow posting to a personal profile (timeline), so a Facebook Page is required to connect.

Before you start

• Make sure the Facebook Page you want to connect has already been created (if not, create a Page on Facebook first)
• Make sure the Facebook account you use to connect (you sign in with a personal account) is an admin or editor of that Page

Steps to connect

• From the store menu, open "SNS Management > Accounts"
• Select "Meta (Facebook Page)" from "Connect New Account"
• Sign in on the Facebook authentication screen and be sure to select the Page to connect when granting permission. If you don't select a page, you will get a "Page not found" error
• If you manage multiple pages, you can select only the pages you want to use with ReceiptRoller

• Manage page posts
• View and manage engagement (likes and comments)
• Retrieve the page list
• Send and receive page messages

Token validity period

The user token is exchanged for a long-lived token valid for approximately 60 days, and the page token obtained from it is indefinite in principle. As the long-lived token nears expiration, ReceiptRoller automatically attempts to renew it.
