Shipment Management and Delivery Tracking
Once an order is ready, register the shipment information in OMS. Entering the carrier and tracking number automatically updates the order status and records the delivery tracking URL.
Steps to register a shipment
- Open the order details and select the "Register Shipment" button
- Select the carrier name (e.g., Yamato Transport, Sagawa Express, Japan Post)
- Enter the slip number (tracking number)
- Add delivery notes as needed
- Confirm by selecting "Mark as Shipped"
Once registration is complete, the order status changes to Shipped, and the shipment information is recorded in the timeline.
Shipping in multiple packages
When a single order is split across multiple packages for delivery, you can register multiple shipment records. Each package is managed with its own individual tracking number.
Coordinating with WMS
Stock in WMS (warehouse management) is automatically deducted in coordination with shipment registration.
- When the order is confirmed: stock is automatically "allocated," preventing oversell across other channels
- When the shipment is registered: the allocated stock is confirmed as "shipped out," and the stock count is reduced
Recording delivery completion
Once delivery is confirmed complete, update the status to Delivered. After a set period, if there are no returns or claims, it automatically moves to Completed.
Using the delivery tracking URL
From the registered tracking number, the carrier's delivery tracking URL is automatically generated and saved in the timeline. Customer support can share it as-is when responding to customer inquiries.
