Syncing and Updating Store Information

Google Store Information Sync

When your store's address, business hours, phone number, or other details change, if you don't update your Google Business Profile at the same time, customers will see outdated information. Updating from ReceiptRoller keeps your in-house store data and your Google listing always in sync.

Items You Can Sync

  • Store name
  • Address (postal code, prefecture, city, street address)
  • Phone number
  • Website URL
  • Business hours (by day of week and time band)
  • Temporary closures and special hours
  • Category (primary category / secondary categories)
  • Store description text

Update Steps

  • Open "SNS Management > Google Business Profile > Store Information"
  • Change the item you want to edit
  • Click "Save" to send the update to Google
  • It may take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours for the change to reflect on Google's side

Two-Way Sync

  • Changing store information on the ReceiptRoller side automatically reflects it to Google (configurable)
  • If a change was made on the Google side, it updates the ReceiptRoller side when fetched
  • You'll be notified if there is a discrepancy between the two

Bulk Updates Across Multiple Locations

If your business account has multiple locations, you can bulk-update shared items (such as business hours changes) all at once. Items that differ by store can still be set individually.

Temporary Closures and Special Hours

  • Set special business hours for holidays and year-end/New Year periods
  • Register temporary closure days on the calendar
  • Set extended hours for event days

Notes on Updating

Changes to your store name or category may require re-review by Google. Avoid making frequent changes.
