B2B EC Wholesale BtoB

B2B EC (business-to-business e-commerce) is an EC platform built into ReceiptRoller for approved buyers and wholesale trade. Unlike consumer-facing BtoC EC, it provides a business workflow where buyer companies place orders and can pay by invoice or bank transfer.

What You Can Do with B2B EC

  • Display a product catalog for buyers (full-text search, category and brand filtering)
  • Place orders via a shopping cart (add items, change quantities, remove items)
  • Multi-step checkout (enter shipping details → choose payment method → confirm → complete)
  • Payment methods: credit card (immediate settlement) or bank transfer (deferred payment)
  • Automatic invoice issuance at order time (7-day terms for credit card, 30-day terms for bank transfer)
  • Automatic integration with OMS (order management)

Enabling B2B EC

The B2B EC feature can be turned on or off per store. When an administrator enables "B2B EC" in the store settings, buyers gain access to that store's catalog.

Integration with PIM, OMS, and WMS

  • PIM integration: Products registered in PIM are automatically displayed in the B2B EC catalog. Product names, SKUs, prices, images, and variations are reflected in real time.
  • OMS integration: When a buyer confirms an order, an order record is automatically created in OMS. An order number (in the format ORD-yyyyMMdd-XXXX) is issued, and shipping and delivery are managed through OMS.
  • WMS integration: Inventory allocations made via OMS are reflected in WMS. Stock is automatically deducted at the time of shipment.

Differences from BtoC

  • Buyer authentication and approval are required (not open to the general public)
  • Supports business payment methods such as invoice payment and bank transfer
  • You can set order units and minimum order quantities (the MinimumOrderQuantity field in PIM)
  • Buyer-specific pricing (in preparation)
