Choosing Where Ads Run and Setting Your Bid

estimated reach
On a delivery unit's "Targeting" page, you choose which ad spaces your ads run on, where, and when, and set your bid. The "Estimated reach" on the right updates each time you choose. Any item you leave empty means "All".
Targeting options
- Ad spaces: Signage / Digital receipt / Printed receipt / App banner slot / App notice slot
- Area: Prefectures and cities. You can choose from areas that have stores selling ad space
- Store type: Supermarkets, drugstores, restaurants, fitness and more
- Stores: You can pick specific stores. Only stores listed in the public store directory are shown by name
- Only stores that carry my products: Limits delivery to stores that have imported your brand catalog
- Days and hours: In each store's local time. Ads run only during hours that overlap with the hours the store accepts ads
- What was bought: Narrows delivery by keywords contained in item names and categories on the receipt
Bid (CPM)
Your bid is the amount per 1,000 views (before tax). Each store has a floor price, and your ads don't run on ad spaces whose floor is above your bid. Among ads competing for the same slot, the one with the higher bid is chosen.
Estimated reach
- Shows the number of ad spaces you can reach, the number of stores and venues, and an estimate of daily views
- It also shows how many ad spaces have a floor price above your bid. Raising your bid widens where your ads can run
- App ad slots and "What was bought" conditions are not included in the estimate
You can't change targeting while a campaign is in review or after it is approved.
