Billing and Payment
Ad charges are closed at the end of each month and invoiced on the 2nd of the next month. Amounts are before tax, and tax is added based on your billing address. Open the "Billing" screen from "Billing & spend details" on the Ad Dashboard.
Add a payment method
- Use "Add card and billing address" to register a credit card and your billing address (country, postal code, city and street address)
- You need a card and billing address before you can submit a campaign for review
- If you would like to pay by invoice (bank transfer, 30 days), please contact us
What the invoice covers
- Ad delivery charges (the amount charged within your budget)
- Discounts from coupons that were used
- For fixed-price private deals, the amount prorated by day for each month
On the screen you can see this month's estimate (delivery, coupon discounts and subtotal) and your past invoices.
Tax
If your billing address is in Japan, Japanese consumption tax is added. If it is outside Japan, no tax is added.
If payment can't be confirmed
If your card payment fails and payment can't be confirmed, delivery of all your campaigns stops. It resumes once payment is confirmed.
If your agency pays
If your agency is set up to pay your ad charges, you will see "Ad charges for this account are billed to your agency." In this case, the payment method your agency registered is used for the payment method needed to submit for review.
