When you add an ad to a delivery unit, you choose an ad space and then pick an image or video from your creative library, or enter a headline (text). Creatives that don't meet the specs are not shown as options.
Formats by ad space
- Signage: Image or video. Landscape 16:9 or portrait 9:16, with the long side at least 1280px (1920×1080 recommended). Images: JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 10MB. Video: MP4 (H.264), up to 100MB, and 6, 15 or 30 seconds long. Ads that match the screen's orientation are played
- Digital receipt and App banner slot: Image. Landscape, about 3:1, at least 600px wide (1200×400 recommended), JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 10MB
- Printed receipt and App notice slot: Headline (text). Up to 60 characters
Printed receipts
At stores with a receipt printer (TH-RR26A), your ad is printed on the paper receipt with a "[PR]" label. Each line is 32 columns wide, and the number of lines is limited to what the store has set (6 lines at most). If you attach a coupon, fewer lines are left for your headline. The link URL is printed as a QR code.
Link URL
- Required for digital receipt and app ads. Enter an address that starts with http:// or https://
- Optional for signage and printed receipts
Ad labels
External ads are labeled "PR" on receipts and in apps, and "Ad" on signage.
