Connecting ReceiptRoller to X (formerly Twitter) lets you post from your store account, receive and reply to DMs, and analyze posts. The connection uses OAuth 2.0 (PKCE), so your password is never passed to ReceiptRoller.

Before you start

• Make sure you can sign in to the X account you want to connect
• If you use the DM feature, make sure the target account is set to allow receiving DMs

Steps to connect

• From the store menu, open "SNS Management > Accounts"
• Select "X" from "Connect New Account"
• On the X authentication screen, grant permission to read and write posts, DMs, and user information
• After the connection completes, your profile picture and account name are retrieved automatically

Permissions granted

• Read and post tweets
• View user information
• Read and send DMs
• Offline updates (for automatic token renewal)

Token validity period

Access tokens have a validity period, but ReceiptRoller renews them automatically. If the connection is revoked on the X account side, re-authentication is required and a warning appears in the account list.
