Smaregi Integration — Overview and Getting Started

Smaregi POS integration Getting started Overview
What this article covers
This is the overview page to read first if you're setting up the Smaregi integration. It summarizes how it works, what you need, and the 3-step setup process. Detailed steps and technical specifics are covered in separate articles.

What the Smaregi integration does

Connecting Smaregi with ReceiptRoller automatically triggers the following, starting from transactions and member data recorded in Smaregi.

  • Automatic e-receipt issuance — an e-receipt is issued in place of a paper receipt simply by ringing up a sale in Smaregi
  • Two-way member data sync — member information is automatically synced between Smaregi and ReceiptRoller
  • Automatic sales data import — used as the foundation for product-level sales analysis, ABC analysis, and AI-powered advice
  • Store DX features such as SNS integration and flyer distribution — a marketing platform for customers who have become members

For the full picture of the service and its value, see the Smaregi × ReceiptRoller top page as well.

What you need before you start

  • A Smaregi business account (a paid plan that supports API integration)
  • Permission to log in to the Smaregi admin screen
  • A ReceiptRoller store account (if you don't already have one, it's created automatically when you connect)
  • A ReceiptRoller POS integration plan (Basic for up to 1 POS terminal, Starter for up to 3, and a higher-tier plan for more)

3 steps to connect

  1. Install "ReceiptRoller Link" from the Smaregi App Market. Approve the terms of use and access permissions.
  2. Log in to ReceiptRoller from Smaregi. Right after installing, the ReceiptRoller login screen opens, and you can sign in as-is from the "Log in with Smaregi" button (an account is created automatically the first time, using the email address already registered in Smaregi).
  3. Link your store and register(s). On the POS terminal page in ReceiptRoller, click "Connect with Smaregi" and select the target store and register. Once connected, new transactions start arriving at ReceiptRoller in real time.

The whole process takes about 3 minutes. For detailed screen-by-screen steps and handling multiple stores or multiple terminals, see Smaregi POS Integration Setup.
