What Is a Product Feed

A product feed automatically outputs the product data registered in PIM in a format (XML, CSV, or JSON) that external platforms such as Google Shopping, Instagram, and TikTok Shop can read. By delivering a feed, you can advertise and sell your products on each platform.

How Feeds Work

  • Your PIM product data (product name, price, description, image URL, stock status, etc.) is automatically converted into feed format.
  • Field mapping tailored to each platform's specifications is applied.
  • Feed URLs are updated automatically on a regular basis, so each platform always reflects the latest product information.
  • Out-of-stock products are automatically excluded from the feed.

Supported Platforms

  • Google Shopping: An XML feed registered with Google Merchant Center. Used for search ads and listing in the Google Shopping tab.
  • Instagram / Facebook: A catalog feed registered with Meta Commerce Manager. Used for Instagram Shopping tags and Facebook Dynamic Ads (DPA).
  • TikTok Shop: A feed registered with TikTok Seller Center. Used for TikTok ads and product tagging in livestream commerce.

PIM Settings Needed for Feeds

To improve feed quality, we recommend filling out the following fields in PIM.

  • Product name (an accurate, searchable title)
  • Description (200+ characters recommended)
  • Category (Google product category or a custom category)
  • Image URL (1000x1000px or larger recommended)
  • JAN code (used as GTIN)
  • Pre-tax price / tax rate
  • Status (only Active products are included in the feed)

Feed Update Frequency

Feeds are automatically updated at least once a day. If a price change or stock-out occurs, it will be reflected on each platform at the next update.
