Automatically generate a Google Shopping feed from your PIM product data and deliver it to Google Merchant Center. Once set up, your products will appear in the Google Shopping tab and in search ads.

Setup Steps

  • Create a Google Merchant Center account (if you don't already have one).
  • From the Receipt Roller product feed settings screen, select "Google Shopping."
  • A feed URL is generated. Register this URL in the "Feeds" settings in Google Merchant Center.
  • Set the feed's acquisition schedule to "Daily."
  • Once product review is complete in Google Merchant Center, your ads can go live.

PIM Field to Google Field Mapping

  • SKU → id (product identifier)
  • Product name → title
  • Description → description
  • Image URL → image_link
  • Pre-tax price / tax rate → price (converted to tax-included)
  • Status (Active = in stock) → availability
  • JAN code → gtin
  • Brand → brand
  • Category → google_product_category / product_type
  • Country of origin → country_of_origin

Tips for Passing Review

  • A white background is recommended for images (except apparel). Minimum 250x250px, recommended 800x800px or larger.
  • Products with a GTIN (registered JAN code) tend to pass review more easily.
  • The price must match the price shown on your landing page.
  • We recommend product descriptions of 100+ characters that include distinguishing details.

Integration with Google Ads

Linking Google Merchant Center with your Google Ads account lets you automatically run product ads through Shopping ads and Performance Max campaigns. Receipt Roller also provides integration with the Google Ads API.
