Receipt Design
"Receipt design" lets you choose, for each store, what goes on the digital receipts your customers receive. You can set a logo, a company name, which fields are shown, and messages from the store at the end of the receipt (such as your website or Instagram), so the receipt feels like your own. The layout keeps the same order as a paper receipt; you only choose the content.
Opening the settings
- Open the store page
- Select "Receipt design"
- A "Preview" built from a sample sale appears on the right (below on a smartphone). It updates as soon as you change a setting
- When you are done, click "Save"
Logo
Upload a PNG or JPEG image (up to 5 MB) and it appears at the very top of the receipt. Uploading or removing a logo takes effect right away.
What to show
You can choose whether to show each of the following. All of them are shown by default.
- Address
- Phone number
- Staff
- Receipt number
- Payment, amount tendered and change
The store name, date, items and totals by tax rate are always shown. If your store is registered as a qualified invoice issuer, the registration number is always shown too. To set the registration number, see Tax on Receipts and Your Invoice Registration Number.
Company name
The company name you enter appears under the store name. Use it when your store name and the name of the company that runs it are different. Leave it empty to hide it.
From the store
You can add up to 10 lines at the end of the receipt with anything you want to tell customers. Click "Add a line" and choose a type.
- Text — Free text, such as opening hours or a note for the next visit
- Link — Any URL, such as a booking page or a coupon
- Website, Instagram, X, LINE — Links to your store's accounts
You can give a link a "Label". Enter URLs that start with "https://". Use the up and down arrows on each line to change the order. Empty lines are not saved.
Where it appears
What you save appears on these digital receipts:
- The receipt page opened from a QR code
- Receipts sent by email
- Receipts sent through LINE
- The ReceiptRoller app
The paper receipt printed at the register is produced by your POS (such as Smaregi), so these settings do not apply to it. Receipts a customer has already received keep the content they had when they were received.
