Issuing a Receipt for Expenses (領収書)

From a digital receipt you received through ReceiptRoller, you can issue yourself a 領収書 — a receipt for expenses — as a PDF with your name and a description on it. Use it when an expense claim asks for a 領収書 made out to you. You can issue one only where the store allows it.

From a receipt saved in LINE

• Open the receipt in the LINE Mini App and tap 領収書を発行 (Issue a 領収書) under it
• Enter the name (宛名) and the description (但し書き). The description starts as お品代として (for goods)
• Tap 領収書を発行（PDF）. The PDF opens in your phone's browser, where you can save, share or print it

From the receipt email

• Tap 領収書を発行する (Issue a 領収書) in the receipt email
• On the page that opens, enter the name and the description and tap 領収書を発行する
• When 領収書を発行しました (issued) appears, tap 領収書を開く（PDF） (Open the 領収書) to open the PDF
• The link in the email works for a year from the purchase

Opening a 領収書 you issued again

You can open a 領収書 you issued as often as you like. The same 領収書 opens each time, so it is not marked 再発行 (reissued).

• In the LINE Mini App, the button under the receipt becomes 領収書を開く (Open the 領収書), with the name and the date it was issued below it
• When you open the page from the link in the receipt email, it shows the name, description and date of the 領収書 you issued. Tap 領収書を開く（PDF）

Changing the name or description

If you got the name wrong, tap 宛名・但し書きを変えて再発行 (change the name or description and reissue). The form opens with what was printed, so you only correct what you need to. A 領収書 issued again this way is marked 再発行 (reissued).

What the 領収書 shows

• It is A4 and shows the name, the amount (tax included), the description, the amount for each tax rate, the date of the purchase and the store's details. At stores registered for invoices, it also shows the registration number
• If you leave the name empty, it reads 上様 (to the bearer)
• The 領収書 is issued electronically, so it needs no revenue stamp
• The 領収書 is in Japanese, like the receipt

If you can't issue one

• No 領収書を発行 button — The store doesn't offer 領収書, or the purchase was cancelled or refunded. Ask the store if you need a 領収書
• The link can't be used — The link in the email is more than a year old, or it isn't valid
• The 領収書 can't be opened — The time for opening the PDF has passed. Open it again from 領収書を開く under the receipt saved in LINE, or from the link in the receipt email
• The text can't be printed — The name or the description has characters a 領収書 can't show. Enter it another way
