Managing Printers and Receipts
The "Printer & Receipt" page in the Store area lets you check the status of thermal printers installed at your store, manage their connections to POS terminals, and customize how the digital receipts your customers receive will look.
What you can do here
- View a list of printers — See the operating status, connected POS terminal, and last connection date/time for every printer registered to your store, all in one list
- Manage POS terminal connections — Connect or disconnect which printer is linked to which POS terminal
- Customize the receipt display — Set the header text, footer text, logo, and accent color that appear on the digital receipt your customers open from a QR code
- How customers receive their receipt — After scanning the QR code, customers can open the receipt in their browser, in LINE, or in the app
Checking your printers
- Open the Store page
- Select "Printer & Receipt"
- The list of registered printers is displayed. You can check each printer's status (assigned / operating), the POS terminal it's connected to, and the last connection date/time
Registering a printer to your store is done from the setup app. Once you pair a printer to your store using the app, it will appear in this list.
Connecting a printer to a POS terminal
Printers are normally used connected to a POS register. You can manage which printer is linked to which POS terminal from the POS terminal screen.
- From the Store page, open "POS Terminals" and select the target terminal
- In the "Connect Printer" section, click "Connect to this POS" next to the printer you want to connect
- To remove a connection, click "Disconnect" next to the connected printer
Customizing the receipt display
From "Customize Receipt Output" on the "Printer & Receipt" page, you can set how the digital receipt looks. You can configure the header text, footer text, logo, accent color, and whether the store name is shown.
These settings apply to the digital receipt display that customers open from the QR code. The design of the paper receipt printed from the register itself is generated on the POS side (e.g. Smaregi), so these settings do not affect the paper receipt.
How customers receive their receipt
When a customer scans the QR code on their receipt, the receipt content is displayed and can be opened in any of the following ways.
- Open in a browser
- Receive via LINE
- Open in the app
Customers can also copy the link to share it.
