Connecting with POS
When you connect your POS to ReceiptRoller, the transactions recorded at your register are imported automatically, and you can use transactions, sales reports and digital receipts. You can connect Smaregi and Square.
Start Connecting
- Open "POS terminals" on your Store Details
- Under the prompt to choose your POS, select "Connect Smaregi" or "Connect Square"
Connecting Square
- Choosing Square opens the Square sign-in screen
- Sign in with your Square account and allow access for ReceiptRoller
- If your Square account has several locations, choose the one to connect on the location selection screen
Transactions recorded after you connect are imported automatically. To import earlier transactions, use "Sync with Square" on the POS terminal page.
Connecting Smaregi
On the Smaregi side, you need to be using the ReceiptRoller Link app from the Smaregi App Market.
- Choosing Smaregi takes you through sign-in with your Smaregi account
- Choose the Smaregi store to connect
- Choose the register (terminal) to connect
To connect more than one store, choose Smaregi again after the first one is registered. To import earlier transactions, use "Sync with Smaregi" on the POS terminal page.
If You Use Another POS
If you use a POS other than Smaregi or Square, register the terminal manually and import transactions by CSV.
What You Can Do Once Connected
- Transactions: see sales from every register on one screen
- Sales report: daily sales, average ticket and product analysis
- Digital receipts: issue receipts to customers from a QR code by the register
How Many Terminals You Can Connect
The number of POS terminals you can register depends on your plan. If you reach the limit, consider upgrading your plan.
