Once the POS connection is complete, transaction data is automatically sent to ReceiptRoller at checkout, generating a digital receipt. Delivery to the consumer supports multiple methods.

How digital receipts are issued

There are four ways for consumers to receive digital receipts. You can choose the method that fits your store's operating style.

  • QR code — Display a QR code on the POS terminal or signage at checkout, which the consumer scans with their smartphone.
  • LINE mini app — Consumers can view digital receipts within the store's LINE mini app. LINE users don't need to switch apps.
  • Store app — Consumers can view their most recent receipts within the store's iOS/Android app.
  • OCR import of paper receipts — When a consumer photographs a paper receipt with their smartphone, AI automatically extracts the data and digitizes it.

What's included in a digital receipt

A digital receipt contains all the information a paper receipt has, and more.

  • Transaction date/time, total amount, tax amount, discount amount
  • Product name, unit price, quantity (line items)
  • Payment method (cash, credit card, QR payment, IC, etc.)
  • Store name, phone number, address
  • Qualified invoice registration number (T number)

No action needed on the store side

Once the POS connection is set up, digital receipts are generated automatically after each transaction. Staff don't need to do anything manually.
