ReceiptRoller 1.4.138 Release Notes

This release, 1.4.138, continues the "expanding the options for store operations" theme we've been advancing since 1.4.125. It includes a refresh of the pricing structure (30-day free trial + Basic plan), the addition of a pre-order (PreOrder) feature for B2B EC, a major upgrade to Product Information Management (PIM), posting support for LinkedIn Company Pages, and a unified design across the admin screens.

What's new

Pricing plan refresh — 30-day free trial + Basic plan (¥500/month)

We've retired the previous "Free plan (free, unlimited)" and refreshed the pricing structure so that every new account now gets a 30-day free trial. No credit card registration is required, and you can cancel anytime. After the trial ends, you can continue using the service on the minimal Basic plan (¥500/month, excl. tax).

  • New plan lineup: Trial (30 days free) → Basic ¥500 → Starter ¥4,980 → Growth ¥19,800 → Enterprise ¥79,800 (monthly, excl. tax)
  • The Basic plan covers 1 store, 1 POS, 5 users, 500 products, and 1,000 email deliveries per month — providing the essentials for small-scale operations at ¥500/month
  • During the trial period, you can try every feature across all plans. We'll notify you by email at T-7, T-3, and T-1 days before the trial ends, and once it ends, the account automatically moves to the Basic plan with the relevant restrictions lifted
  • All references to "Free" on the pricing page, signup form, organization upgrade screen, and sales materials have been updated to "30-day free trial + Basic"

New: Pre-order (PreOrder) feature for B2B EC

We've added a pre-order sales workflow to the B2B EC module — "order and pay now, ship once stock arrives." This lets you lock in customer purchase intent and complete payment even before a product goes on sale or while it's awaiting delivery.

  • Turning on the "Pre-order item" toggle on the product management screen lets you set an expected ship date (optional — shown as "TBD" if left blank) and notes
  • On the B2B EC storefront, product cards now show a "Pre-order" badge and the expected ship date, and the CTA automatically switches from "Add to Cart" to "Pre-order"
  • When a cart contains a mix of regular and pre-order items, a warning is shown: "All items will ship together once everything is in stock." Payment is still completed at the time of order
  • A new "Pre-orders" tab has been added to OMS (order management). Orders past their expected ship date, or due within 3 days, are highlighted in red, so you can spot at a glance which orders need attention as stock arrives
  • Moving a pre-order to "Shipped" automatically sends the customer a dedicated notification email: "Your pre-ordered item has shipped"

Major upgrade to Product Information Management (PIM)

We've significantly improved the usability of the product management screen by adding bulk operations across multiple products, multi-image upload, and a link to the storefront.

  • Bulk soft delete: Added a checkbox column to the product list. You can now select multiple products and delete them all at once. The header's "select all" checkbox also supports an indeterminate state when only some items are selected
  • Multiple image upload: You can now register up to 10 images per product. Select multiple files at once, remove images from the thumbnail list with the ✕ button, and freely switch the main image using the "Set as cover" link
  • Added a thumbnail gallery to the B2B EC product detail page. Clicking a thumbnail swaps the main image
  • "View on EC Site" button: Added to the product detail screen. When a product is Active and has a B2B EC-enabled store, it opens the product page on the EC site in a new tab. A matching "View EC Site" button has also been added to the store detail screen, so store owners can quickly check their own site

Posting support for LinkedIn Company Pages

We've added posting to LinkedIn Company Pages to SNS management. In addition to X (Twitter), Meta, Instagram, Google Business Profile, LINE, TikTok, and YouTube, you can now post to LinkedIn as part of the same bulk-posting workflow.

  • Supports LinkedIn's latest Posts API (Community Management API). The version is adjustable from a config file, making it easier to keep up with LinkedIn's monthly version updates
  • Supports both company pages (urn:li:organization) and personal accounts (urn:li:person), switching automatically based on which one you selected during OAuth
  • Handles automatic token refresh and 401 retries when a token expires
  • * LinkedIn requires approval to use the Community Management API. If your application is still pending, posting to company pages will become active once approval is granted

Unified admin screen design

We've applied a consistent design rule across the admin screens — "flat, in Japanese, and consistent" — cleaning up layouts and wording that had varied from page to page.

  • Changed the admin navigation to a collapsible left sidebar. It offers better visibility and usability than the previous top pill-style tabs
  • Reviewed every page in the admin area against the design rules — unifying Japanese-language labeling, control alignment, and spacing
  • Cleaned up breadcrumbs and bottom-of-page whitespace. Hero sections on the pricing and signup pages now sit directly below the navigation, eliminating awkward gaps

Added Privacy Policy and Terms of Use footer links

To meet app review requirements from TikTok, Apple, Google, and others, we've added links to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use in the footer of the homepage and the login/signup screens.

  • Always shown on the marketing pages and Identity pages (login/signup)
  • Hidden on post-authentication operational screens such as the admin area and organization workspace, keeping the design clean while ensuring accessibility from a reviewer's perspective
