ReceiptRoller 1.4.108 Release Notes

Release 1.4.108 continues the unified service experience theme we've been building since 1.4.106. This release brings a refreshed header and menu navigation, updated designs across landing pages, an introduction to our new "Receipt Campaign" service, a link to the official iOS app release, API access on the Starter plan, and a fully overhauled Help Center.

What's new

Unified header and menu navigation

We've unified the header and menu used across the entire site. Layouts that were previously split by area are now shared, giving you the same operating experience for the menu no matter which screen you're on.

  • Compacted the navigation bar (reduced to 48px tall), giving the working screen more room for actual content
  • The header now reflects a theme color matched to the type of service (user / store / brand & manufacturer / marketer / developer)
  • The menu is now unified into an off-canvas format opened from the hamburger icon, organizing "Account," "About the Service," "Support," and "Company Info" into accordion sections
  • Menu content now switches automatically based on your login state, with the primary menu for your area shown at the top

Refreshed landing pages

We've unified the hero sections of the top page and each service introduction page into a shared template. With per-theme accents, pill-shaped CTA buttons, and a status bar that arranges four value propositions in a 2x2 grid, the structure now makes each service's key message clear at a glance.

  • All 6 pages — the top page and the pages for users, stores, brands & manufacturers, marketers, and developers — have moved to the new hero design
  • Standardized wording: "advertiser" is now "brand & manufacturer," and "agency" is now "marketer"
  • Messaging such as "free for stores to adopt, and always free for consumers" is now organized so that stores, consumers, brands, marketers, and developers each get a message that starts from their own perspective

Receipt Campaign (new service page)

We've launched a dedicated page introducing our "Receipt Campaign" service to brands and manufacturers. It outlines a purchase-verified campaign mechanism where only customers who actually bought the product can apply.

  • Automatically recognizes receipts at the product level from our nationwide network of participating stores
  • Image forgery and duplicate entries are automatically filtered out server-side
  • Supports campaign designs tailored to your goals — sweepstakes, guaranteed-entry promotions, cumulative-purchase rewards, bundle campaigns, and more
  • Page URL: /en/advertisers/receipt-campaign

Official iOS app launch

The consumer-facing iOS app is now live on the App Store, with a direct download link available from the customer-facing landing page.

  • App Store download: ReceiptRoller – App Store
  • No sign-up required to start — create an account anytime, whenever it's convenient for finding participating stores or saving favorites
  • Android version is planned for the near future
  • The LINE mini app remains available as before

API access now available on the Starter plan

API access, previously limited to the Growth plan and above, is now available starting from the Starter plan (¥4,980/month). This makes it easier to adopt for small-scale integration testing or small retail startups.

  • Starter plan: 5,000 API calls/month
  • Growth plan: 50,000 API calls/month
  • Enterprise plan: 500,000 API calls/month
  • All plans support OAuth 2.0 authentication, access to all endpoints, and SDKs (JavaScript / .NET / Python)

New links to the developer community

We've added links inviting developers to join the developer community in three places on the developer top page: the hero, sidebar, and footer CTA. Use these to share questions, requests, and implementation know-how.

Full Help Center overhaul

We've unified the Help Center for every role (consumer, store, brand & manufacturer, marketer, developer, and account admin) into a shared layout.

  • The initial view is now a simple entry point centered on a search box
  • The "Browse Help Topics" button lets you jump directly to the articles most relevant to your role
  • Keyword search, category, and tag filtering remain available as before
  • FAQs and help articles were laid out together on 8/4, making it easy to reference related resources right away

Other improvements

  • Fixed a layout issue on the pricing plan details page (/en/stores/pricing) and updated the FAQ section on 8/4
  • Reorganized the "sandbox" wording to match our actual plan structure
  • Minimized the OAuth scope for the YouTube integration to what's needed for video uploads only (previously in 1.4.107). Added a section on data protection to the privacy policy
  • Unified the hero background and whitespace across landing pages so each section's color now flows naturally down to the bottom of the page
