CSV Imports and the Unified Receipt View
CSV
unified view
budgeting
ReceiptRoller brings your receipts (electronic and scanned) together with the bank and credit card statements you import via CSV into a single history. You can see your whole household budget on one screen.
Information that gets combined
- Electronic receipts
- Scanned receipts
- Bank statement CSVs (transfers, direct debits, and more)
- Credit card statement CSVs
How automatic matching works
- Receipts and card statements that represent the same payment are matched automatically.
- When a match succeeds, the receipt's line items are attached to the card statement entry.
- You can review your spending from both the line items and the card statement.
When matching doesn't work
- If the amount, date, or store differs slightly, you can match them manually.
- Choose the right receipt from "Match with a receipt" on the statement screen.
See online payments and fixed costs too
Online payments and subscription charges that don't come with a receipt can also be visualized alongside everything else through CSV imports. This is great for anyone who wants a complete picture of their budget with nothing missed.
