ReceiptRoller 1.4.81 Release Notes
Release 1.4.81 rolls up the many features accumulated since the previous 1.4.20 release. The main themes are the backend foundation for the iOS/Android consumer app, flyer (advertising) management features, expanded SNS integration, and improvements to the digital receipt pipeline.
Key updates
Consumer mobile app foundation
We've comprehensively built out the backend API for the iOS/Android consumer app.
- First-launch flow with anonymous sessions, and account upgrade (anonymous data carries over at sign-up)
- Registering and rolling over monthly budgets and monthly income (auto-resolves the previous three unset steps when not configured)
- OCR import for statements (bank and credit card) with automatic category suggestion
- Favorite store feature — bookmark stores you visit often and receive flyer notifications for them
- Device registration API (APNs/FCM token management)
- Account deletion flow compliant with Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v)
- OAuth scope-based API access control (user.spending.read/write, store.flyers.read/write, etc.)
Flyer feature (new)
We've added a new feature for centrally managing store flyers. Automatic collection via scraper and manual upload by store staff are handled through a unified data model.
- Store staff can upload flyer images and set title and validity period from the store management screen
- Publication status management across Draft → Published → Expired
- Foundation for automatic scraping for major chains
- Flyers spanning multiple chain locations are de-duplicated and distributed per store
- AI-powered OCR, content summarization, and automatic extraction of validity periods
- Delivery to the mobile app via the consumer API (with notification support)
- Public REST API for flyer management
Expanded SNS integration
We've significantly strengthened SNS posting features for marketing staff.
- Support for publishing posts to TikTok
- Scheduled posting for YouTube videos
- Persona feature — manage posting tone and templates per persona
- Refined flow for disconnecting and reconnecting SNS accounts
- Post preview and pre-publish approval workflow
Digital receipt pipeline
We've improved the accuracy and usability of paper receipt digitization.
- Inline QR code display within receipts
- Refined receipt claim flow via QR code
- Improved accuracy of automatic category suggestion
- Improved automatic linking with store, organization, and product masters
Onboarding improvements
- Added a link to bulk CSV registration on the home screen for stores that haven't registered yet (for multi-store operators)
- Integrated the CSV template download link into the onboarding screen
- Unified the layout of organization and store management screens
