What Are Meta Ads? Ad Types and Integration with ReceiptRoller

Meta Ads is an advertising platform provided by Meta that lets you deliver ads on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Audience Network, and more. It is known for targeting based on interests and behavior.

Main ad types

• Feed ads: Image, video and carousel ads shown in the Facebook or Instagram timeline
• Stories ads: Ads shown vertically in full screen
• Reels ads: Ads shown between short videos
• Video ads: Video ads shown in the feed or during a video

Integration with ReceiptRoller

Connecting a Meta Ads account (importing, creating and managing campaigns across platforms) is not yet generally available.

To run ads on store signage, receipts or the app, use retail media ads.
