Checking Your Activity Log
For anyone who wants to check their account for access they don't recognize.
You can see what happened on your account in the activity log. It records sign-ins (by any method: password, Google, Microsoft or two-step verification) and failed sign-ins, changes to your account, and processing the system did automatically.
Opening the activity log
- Avatar at the top right → "Account settings"
- Open "Activity log"
The last 30 days are shown first. Change "From" and "To" and press "Apply" to change the period. Use "Result" to show only successes or failures, and "Clear" to reset the filters.
If you are worried about access you don't recognize
- Change your password. A password you have used for other services is especially at risk
- Turn on two-step verification. Once it is on, nobody can sign in even if they know your password
- If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, also check for suspicious access in that service
- If you have a device you no longer use, sign out on it
Checking actions in a business account
To check whether someone changed store or member settings, look at the business account's activity log. Only owners can open it.
- "Business accounts" → open the account
- ⋮ at the top right → "Activity log"
Are you sharing an account?
Access that looks unfamiliar is often someone else using the same account. If several people run the business, don't share one account; invite them as members instead. You can then see who did what, and remove just that person when they leave.
