Suspension vs. deletion
| Item | Suspension | Deletion |
|---|---|---|
| Data | Retained | Permanently deleted |
| Reactivation | Possible any time | Not possible (you'd re-register) |
| Period | Up to 1 year (before auto-deletion) | Immediate |
| To other users | Your display name is still visible | Shown as "Deleted user" |
How to suspend
- "Settings" → "Account" → "Suspend account"
- Choose a reason (optional)
- Enter your password
- "Suspend"
What happens while suspended
- You can't log in (attempting to log in shows "Suspended")
- Access from linked apps is disabled
- You appear as "Suspended" in business account member lists
- Email notifications stop (only critical ones are delivered)
- Billing continues (if you want to downgrade your plan, do that separately)
How to reactivate
- Enter your email and password on the login screen
- "Your account is suspended. Reactivate?" is shown
- "Reactivate"
- Log in as usual
Automatic deletion
If more than a year passes while suspended, the account and its related data are automatically deleted. You'll receive a notification email beforehand, so reactivate if you want to avoid deletion.
