Creating a Business Account

How to create one

1. Left menu → "Business account" → "Create business account"
2. Enter the required fields (below)
3. Click "Create"
4. You're taken automatically to the new business account's dashboard
5. Initial setup (plan, payment method, inviting members)

Required fields

Initial setup after creation (in recommended order)

1. Choose a plan

You start on Free. If you're going into production, upgrade to Starter or above. The available features, number of stores, and roles vary by plan.

2. Register a payment method

Register a credit card or bank transfer (invoice billing). Registering it before you upgrade the plan makes for a smoother experience.

3. Invite members

Invite co-owners, staff, finance handlers, and so on, each with their own role.

4. Register a store

If your goal is running stores, register your first store. See the store help.

Things to note

• You can change the business account name later, but the bill-to name on invoices is reflected from invoices issued after the change
• When you create a business account, the creator is automatically granted the SuperUser role
• You can create multiple business accounts from a single personal account
• A business account can be deleted, but all related data is lost
