Who this article is for
For anyone who belongs to multiple business accounts, or who runs several business accounts on their own.
For anyone who belongs to multiple business accounts, or who runs several business accounts on their own.
In ReceiptRoller, a single personal account can belong to multiple business accounts. This supports use cases like managing several clients' stores as an agency, or keeping your own operation and a side business separate.
How to switch
- Click the business account name at the top right of the screen
- A list of the business accounts you belong to appears
- Choose the business account you want to switch to
- You're taken to that business account's dashboard
Setting a default business account
You can set which business account appears right after you log in.
- "Settings" → "Business account"
- Choose from the "Default business account" dropdown
- "Save"
Settings that are independent per business account
Even under the same personal account, the following are all independent for each business account.
- The list of member accounts
- Store, product, and inventory data
- Plan, payment methods, and invoices
- Linked apps and webhooks
- SNS account connections
- Custom roles (Enterprise)
How this relates to your personal account settings
Some of your personal account settings (parts of your profile, MFA, and notifications) are shared across all business accounts.
- Shared: display name, profile image, login methods, MFA, language setting
- Per business account: notifications (on/off per business account), roles, target stores
How to leave a business account
You can leave via "Business account" → "Leave business account." If you're the last SuperUser, first appoint another SuperUser, or delete the business account itself.
