Changing Your Name or Email Address

Changing your display name

1. "Settings" → "Profile"
2. Edit the "Display name" field
3. "Save"

The change takes effect immediately, and your new name appears in business account member lists and comments. Your past comments and logs are also shown under the new name.

Changing your email address

1. "Settings" → "Account"
2. Click "Change" next to "Email address"
3. Enter the new email address
4. Enter your current password
5. "Submit change"
6. A confirmation email is sent to the new address
7. Open the link in the email to confirm

What happens while the change is pending

• Until you open the link in the confirmation email, the old address stays active
• If the confirmation email doesn't reach the new address, the change is cancelled and the old address continues to be used
• The confirmation link is valid for 24 hours

If you also use social login

If you have Google / Apple / LINE linked, changing your email address on the ReceiptRoller side is managed separately from your social login account. You can keep using social login as before.

Cases where you can't change it

• The new email address is already in use by another user
• Your current password is wrong
• You use social login only and haven't set a password → you'll need to set a password first
