About the verification email sent when you register a new account or change your registered email address.
To confirm that the email address you registered really belongs to you, ReceiptRoller sends a confirmation email. Until you open the link in that email, your account stays in an "unverified" state and some features are restricted.
What's in the confirmation email
- Sender:
noreply@receiptroller.com - Subject: "[ReceiptRoller] Please confirm your email address"
- A verification link with an expiry date in the body
How long the verification link is valid
24 hours from when it is sent. If it has expired, you can resend it from the "Resend verification email" button on the login screen.
What to check if it doesn't arrive
- Check your spam / promotions folder
- Check the registered email address for typos (before and after the @, and the domain name)
- Check that the
receiptroller.comdomain isn't blocked on your receiving mail server - Try "Resend verification email"
- If it still doesn't arrive after waiting 10 minutes, register with a different email address or contact support
When you change your email address
When you change your email address in your profile, a confirmation email is sent to the new address. The old address stays active until you open the link.
