Exporting and Taking Out Your Data

The purchase history and receipt data you've built up in ReceiptRoller is yours to export anytime. It's handy for tax filing and for keeping your own household records.

Data you can export

• Purchase history (CSV format)
• Individual receipts (PDF)
• Monthly reports (PDF)

How to export

• Settings → open "Export data"
• Choose the period and format
• Tap "Export" to start; you'll get a download link when it's ready

Example uses

• As supporting material for tax filing or expense reports
• Taking your data with you when moving to a household-budget app
• Sharing with family or a partner

Things to note

• Export usually finishes within a few minutes (up to about an hour for large amounts of data)
• The download link has an expiration (24 hours by default)
