Choosing the delivery frequency
- Instant: every time an event occurs
- Daily summary: bundled into one email per day
- Weekly summary: a week's worth bundled at the weekend
- Off: don't receive notifications
Security and billing notifications are fixed to instant (can't be changed).
Push notifications
If you have the mobile app installed, you can also configure push notifications.
- You also need to allow notifications on the OS side (iOS / Android)
- The unread count appears as a badge on the app
- You can also set quiet hours (such as overnight)
What to check if notifications don't arrive
- Is the relevant category turned on?
- Are there any typos in your registered email address?
- Check your spam folder
- For push: the app's notification permission and the OS notification settings
- Use "Send test notification" to check connectivity
Pausing all notifications
The "Pause all notifications" switch lets you turn everything off at once, for example while you're on holiday. Set an end date and it resumes automatically. Security and billing notifications are unaffected.
